Last night I told my daughter to practice drawing again after playing with the computer but instead of just saying yes to my command she questioned me if I can really draw myself, and suggested me to draw something so she would know if I can really draw. Although I tried to explain to her that I can draw on a paper like what I do on a computer like in photoshop like what she always see me doing it when I create posters and banners for the school where I work. But she insisted if I can really draw on a paper using a pencil, this time I realized that she really never saw me doing the traditional drawing and I realized I haven't done it for years because it was only a hobby when I was a kid. I also never attended any kind of special training about art except those basic academic subjects that are more or less art-related back in elementary, high school and college.

I got myself into a corner because for me modeling is the best way to teach a child, so I really have no choice but to agree with her. So we draw together. If ever you're wondering how did I teach my daughter how to draw. I actually just print something out and have her copy it. LOL. I never taught her any kind of procedure on how to start drawing.

It was never a plan for me to share this on #steemit so I don't have a picture when we started, my wife just took as a picture when she noticed we were busy doing this.

Like what I always do I ask her what she wants to draw, she said a fox. I printed the image of fox that I searched online and for me is an image of a character from my favorite online game back in college which is RF online.

We both use an ordinary pencil and a drawing book. The drawing book that I am using is hers. The last time that I have this was back in high school.

This is her finished work. It's her idea to have me grade her work everytime she finishes an artwork.

And here is mine. This brings back a lot of memories for me.
