Vanilla Music is a clean, simple and free (opensource) music player.
My Proposed Icon Design
Proposed Vs Original Icon
Using the concept from the application name itself, I provided a more detailed and attractive icon.
And i came up with this simple concept suited for the application. Which every detailed of the icon were about the music considering the color of the vanilla.
Provided a Color Variation as well for optional design of the application and for the better color icon for different mobile themes.
Including Black and white color for visibility check

I used the default font provided by the Adobe Illustrator CC 2015.
Benefits / Improvement
In this new designed logo, It will provide more accurate and very attractive icon display. The original logo is quite simple so I created a simple design that will best fit for the application.
