I draw stuff for games. Most of my work in the field has been smaller publications. Lately I have been crafting my own monsters on Patreon for 5th Edition DnD.
New monster! The Shamreta... a wormy aberration...
I still have yet to start writing. This has been a really busy month AND there are fewer days. LoL. I'm thinking these things will be reasonably intelligent, large and can squirt a corrosive and sticky
Another recent monster for my Patreon campaign backers and likely a future part of my Creature Feature Quarterly. I'm still noodling with it a bit. If you didn't hear already, I'll be making my monsters
New KickStarter for an Old School Essentials compatible zine!
6 days left! I'm converting my old OSR volume 1 to be compatible with Old School Essentials AND have many new monsters for backers to vote on for a second volume. The new volume (Volume 2) will also be
Potential covers for my Creature Feature Quarterly volume 6.
Potential covers for my Creature Feature Quarterly volume 6. Here is the Barqida. I think this one looks good on both formats (zine style and full letter page). A5 zine wrap cover... prints on an A4...
I'm getting my stuff together for fulfillment of my last KS for CFQ volume 6. I updated a bunch of the art. Here's one I've been tweaking today. When refining my stuff digitally I really get lost in the
I dabbled a bit with the format. Here's a double-sided foldable card version. A5 print, folds to A6. Even on printer paper with just a bit of paste, it might make a decent play aid. Easy to flash the art
A potential design for my Copper Tier backers on Patreon. A6 sized monster cards. What do you guys think? Most of the text is 9 point Arial. Not the fanciest bit of graphic design in my portfolio to be
I've been hard at work, crafting the FLUFF for my recent beasties. I may have gone a bit overboard with some of them. The Awrahim especially has some pretty extensive fluff. I think you guys will be pleased
A recent review of my Creature Feature Quarterly series from RPG Crawler!
A recent review of my Creature Feature Quarterly series from RPG Crawler! I think he presents some fair criticisms. I have enough purely fifth edition material for a seventh volume ready to go from my
Some Description text for the Awrahim. The full write up will include Description, Ecology, Lore, Adventure Seeds and themed Loot. And in addition to the usual Paper Mini Designs and VTT Tokens, I'm
Description fluff for one of my recent monsters... the Sindulvah
Description Fluff for the creature on the far right: DESCRIPTION A hunched and scabrous humanoid thing. It seems to leer at you from a face that is naught but a drooling and frothy lamprey-like maw. It
Another recent photobash of two earlier monster concepts. I'm calling these Naram. Check out my Patreon for more cool monsters and monster art. I'll be writing and statting these recent creations soon.
Some sort of alien sorcerer...? WIP/promo January 14,2020
Another work in progress. Some sort of alien sorcerer or a transdimensional tourist? I will likely tweak the staff, hands and face a bit more. Then even out the light source and textures. Not even a name
Work in progress... calling it a Yomadan BLURB= Join me on Patreon to get images like this for your own tabletop game publishing efforts as well as OSR stats, paper mini designs and VTT tokens. I'm still
I think I will call this one a Makdul... although it would make a great Cat From Saturn...
BLURB= Join me on Patreon to get images like this for your own tabletop game publishing efforts as well as OSR stats, paper mini designs and VTT tokens. This one started to gel a few days ago. I used the
An idea for a new Creature Feature format in 2020? Hello OSR! :^)
I'm dabbling with the new OSR format for 2020. These are formatted for just an A6 page. That's about the size of an index card. They're actually A7 facing pages if you feel so inclined. What do you guys
Final hours of Kickstarter for Creature Feature Quarterly Vol. 6 (5e compatible)
The final hours of my current KS are ticking down. Here are some samples of the artwork. Please share this one around with all your nerdy DnD friends! Here's the link: #dnd #dndmonsters #art #artwork
90% finished with the art for my December 2019 Creature Feature...
These are 90% done. I may change the line weight a little bit on the horned ogre looking guy... the top line of his sword got really chubby somehow. I added a radial gradient to simulate a light source
Some tweaks to the undead/construct thing. Not sure what to call it yet. Possibly a Holocaust Engine or an Inferno Wight. Any thoughts? Like what you see? I sell my images as stock art on DriveThruRPG.
