Sometimes adding some ink to a pencil drawing helps it stand out and sometimes it just ruins it, but I feel adding ink to her worked out.
Looking at my wall of sketches, she looked like she was in the most need of some ink.
Right now I'm in Luang Prabang, Laos. They don't really seem affected by the virus medically, just financially. My guest house had to shut down after three months of zero guests so now I'm living in an apartment that costs $100 a month. If I make a good post here everyday I can survive. I would like to fly home, but the international flights are shut down now. It's not a bad spot to be in. I only need about five dollars a day too get by here. Maybe soon I'll get some furniture and won't have to do sketches on the floor like this.
My fellow artist friend from France gave this Lee technical pen to me because my middle name is Lee. I love how it doesn't bleed. The gel pen is great for filling in black spots since it just gushes the ink out.
I really liked that character from Game of Thrones who was really old, but when she wore her magic neckless, she was a beautiful young woman. I thought about her when drawing her hand all old.
Thanks for checking out my ink sketch today. I hope you're doing well. Have a great day!
