is programmed to automatically unlock after a time delay
➝ If the person that entered the correct access code is not identified or is not authorized to access the flight deck, your response should be to rotate the Flight Deck Door Selector to DENY (rotate and hold for 1 second) ! Access is now denied for a period of 30 minutes (default value). The blockade period can be interrupted and cancelled by rotating the switch to UNLKD.

Flight Deck Door Lock has failed
➝ To prevent unauthorized access, the door should be manually locked by turning the deadbolt to the crossed position (if you have a door key) or both deadbolt levers to the horizontal position (without door key). For the latter, make sure to unlock the door (both deadbolt levers in the vertical position) when both pilots leave the flight deck during GND operations.
