Hello Hivers! it's been a long time since i posted my last blog, specially in this Community.
If you noticed, I've been sharing my arts here in SKETCHBOOK Community on my past blogs. Those are my trial and error arts. I shared it also on some of my social media accounts, specially on facebook, And some of my friends noticed it until some of them willing to pay for me to do portrait for thier love ones.
And I can't wait to share with you my First ever ART commission.
One of my friend ask me to draw her girlfriend. And that draw would be his gift on their 7th Monthsary.
This is the finished portrait! I draw this for almost 6hours.
How i made it?
Below are process how i came up with that outcome.
First, as i always do, i put grids on the reference photo using the grid drawing APPLICATION.
After that, i will put grids also on the art paper where will i draw.
Next is draw the sketch of the whole photo reference.
After that, it's time for us to draw the detailed parts of the portrait.
I always started on the eye, followed by brows, nose and the following parts as seen on the pictures.....
That's all for the process.
Before, im not that confident on my portraits outcome. Until i done this portrait.
My friend who asked me to do this like the outcome, he appreciated it. And i think he's satisfied also, because he thanked me and he said that he will ask me to draw portrait again next time. 馃檪And that feedback motivates me to continue what I'm doing to improve more in doing portrait, and to earn more confidence. 馃檪
And as of now, I'm done with my 2nd art commission. I will be glad to share it with you on my next blog.
