Hello Everyone!

I want to contribute to the question: Why did the Lord Jesus Christ cry?

Jesus wept according to John 11 :35.
He wept out of compassion for the death of his friend Lazarus. He wept to reveal his human emotional feelings.
He wept to show us that he also feels our pains.

The Jews interpreted his weeping to mean that he loved Lazarus his friend according to John 11:36. So Jesus Christ wept out of love, pity and compassion.

Though Jesus Christ is our lord and saviour, he wept to show us the he can be touched with the feeling of our pains and sorrows, according to Hebrews 4:15.
Our lord Jesus is compassionate towards us.
