SteemPH Registration: The Frustrated Writer

My journey in Steemit was fun and challenging when I joined the platform. I don't have friends yet and I don't have someone to ask when I got confused about something in the system and how Steemit works. So what I did was self-study. I read helpful articles, understand the terms and the system, and joined helpful communities. I was directed to Steemph discord when I read a blog and the discord link was posted in the bottom of it. At first, I really don’t know what’s the purpose of discord. But I’ve read about it several times in other’s blog so it gave me an idea. So I signed up to discord and click the link directed to Steemph discord.

Steemph discord was the first discord community that I joined. I was so silent at first. Well, it’s always my personality to be silent when I’m in a new environment or community. It’s my attitude to observe first before interacting. I’ve clicked every channel to know its purpose and that’s where I know the best game in discord which is the Pinoy Henyo. I know how to play that game in actual, but I don’t know how to play Pinoy Henyo in discord. But even though I was confused on how to play it, I still tried to join. And I was really happy that I joined PH because that's where I first met Boss @twotripleow. I was so shy whenever Boss commended me when I got the correct answer. Hahahha. I’ve also met the PH geniuses and regular participants namely Boss Iyan Mapagmahal @iyanpol12, Manong @oscargabat, Mam @romeskie, sis @czera, etc. The game and my co-participants always bring joy to my Sunday nights.

Why you want to be part of Steemph?

I want to be part of Steemph because it’s where I belong. I am a Filipino and I can interact well with my fellow Filipino than with other nationality. I also gained good friends when I joined Steemph discord.

I belong to @steemph.cebu because I am a Cebuana. And I’ve been in our Cebu discord since April this year.

3 Fun Facts About Me

• I can be versatile as a fiction writer. I love to try writing stories in the different genres. It's a challenge to me to write in the different genre, yet it's really fulfilling when I was able to do the challenge. I already wrote stories with the following genres: horror, fantasy, action, science fiction, romance, humor, vampire, mystery/thriller, adventure, tragedy, drama, inspirational.

• I love to travel. One of my dreams is to travel and explore all the wonderful spots in Cebu. I love Cebu so much! Hahahaha. I started traveling when I got my first stable job. It's hard to travel when we don't have enough money. I even became a bad influence to my boyfriend since we're on because I always request for out of town. He became a traveler, too (well, that's because he just wants to grant my requests). Hahaha

• I love doing extreme adventures. My bucket list includes skydiving, riding in a fastest and longest roller coaster, bungee jumping and scuba diving. As of now, I only tried zipline and falls jumping. I can’t help but smile whenever I remember how I jumped in Kawasan Falls. I don’t know how to swim, yet I was so eager to jump. Hahaha. I was only relying to my life vest and always say to myself “kung mamatay, aw patay” (If I’ll die, then I’m dead). Jumping to that approximately 35 feet falls is really breath-taking, yet satisfying.

There we go! I am really happy and blessed that I gained friends here in Steemit. I thought I will just post blogs and can't make friends on this platform. But thank God I found a home and a family here.
