Every winter, my children and I wait for the snow with joy. December is a month full of nostalgic and beautiful emotions for us. We collect Christmas and New Year's Eve decorations while listening to Frank Sinatra's Christmas songs and it is a very special moment for us. In December, there is usually snow, so we spend the days outside. That's why I chose two December photos for this post that were taken in front of the building where I live.
Snow encourages creativity and that's why I love it. Amazing creations that arise in children's play in the snow will make your day fun. I was so delighted with the armchair my son made for his sister. It was a great, comfortable armchair. He wanted her to feel comfortable and to be outside with us as long as possible, so he came up with this idea.
My daughter sat quietly in the armchair and did not want to get up. She loved it! The dimensions of the armchair were ideal for her as if he had measured it. A child's eye has a perfect ability to assess and observe. I asked him to make one for me, but he didn't want to. 😊 He made it just for his sister. She inspired him and that's why it was a unique and unrepeatable armchair. 😊
While my daughter was sitting in her armchair, my son was making another snowy masterpiece, the Snowman. He wanted Snowman to be taller than him so I helped him. He made sure that the Snowman had eyes, a nose, a mouth, and hands. And even hair!😊
Moments spent with children in the snow are precious. Snow motivates us to create and be active while relaxing at the same time. It's a great feeling when you're warm in the cold. And it's even better when you come home frozen and warm yourself up with a hot drink, such as cocoa in our case.
Happiness indeed takes a little and it comes from within. Nothing can make you happy like little things. Snow awakens happiness in us and brings great moments that later remain beautiful nostalgic memories.
