Hello Hivers! I am Jelena, from Serbia, and I am very excited about starting my Hive journey with you. I can't wait to meet you, but before I start reading your posts, let me introduce myself.
My life story began in Zadar, a picturesque coastal city of Croatia. Aside from being my birthplace, Zadar is the city of the most beautiful sunset, charming narrow streets, and coastal, relaxed life. In short, for me, the perfect place to live.
Unfortunately, due to the civil war, I had to leave this city with my family and move to Serbia, where I live today. I live in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, an urban and fast-paced lifestyle. Belgrade is a dynamic place to live. It sits at the confluence of two rivers, the Danube and Sava. It is a city that accepts you just the way you are and gives you free space to express yourself. Belgrade lives at night. It's ideal for evening walks.
When it comes to my city, I love my neighborhood the most. It is a place where I feel free and inspired.
I am in love with the sea. Although I do not live in a seaside town, my city has its own "sea". It is a lake, where I like to spend time with my family, which is known by the popular name "Sea of Belgrade".
I survived two wars as a child and very early on I began to analyze the political situation in my country. That is how I became a politicologist. But as the political situation in the country did not give me the opportunity to pursue my profession, I started working in the field of telecommunications as an operational expert. I like to call my current position an “error handler” because my job comes down to correcting technical errors that happen to employees. This is not the job of my dreams, but my team is made up of young and positive people and we work well together.
Writing is something I love to do the most. I see inspiration in everything that surrounds me and I like to express my thoughts through writing. When I was 9 years old, I published my first book of poems. I write poems, essays, stories for children. I write articles for the read. cash platform, where I am also learning about cryptocurrencies.
I express my creativity through painting as well. In addition to canvas, I like to paint on objects such as jars, vases, picture frames...
My life motto is: "Everything we start, we can finish." I move forward through life, with a positive attitude and easily accept challenges. I am friendly, a good listener, and an understanding person.
I am a mother and I love spending time with my family. I have a baby who meets the world. I gave birth to her at a difficult time when I lost my father, but I often like to say that she and my son are the shining stars of my sky. My son is above average intelligence and I learn a lot from him. He is my inspiration, my friend, companion, dance partner.
I am afraid of dogs, but my children help me get rid of my fears and make me feel stronger.
I have a younger sister, but everyone thinks we are twins. We are each other's greatest support.
I like to travel, learn foreign languages and I am a lover of food, nature, music, and chocolate. I often go to concerts and I couldn’t imagine life without music.
Here I will share my experiences, interesting places I visit, recipes, parenting issues, motivational thoughts, and everything that inspires me. I will read and learn in order to improve my writing and share quality content. I will promote Hive and motivate others to join.
