Today I was choosing my photos from Zurich to share with you. I remember the trip to Zurich as a very beautiful experience and enlightenment. I say enlightenment because when you live in a chaotic society and suddenly find yourself in an orderly and organized society, you feel as if you were blind until then. 馃檪
I was in Zurich a few years ago and I liked living in this city very much. I am a person who likes work and order and rests after well-deserved work. I noticed that people here work hard because during working hours the streets are empty.
But a relative from Zurich, whose guests we were, told us that although they work hard, they use every break and free time for a quality rest, enjoying nature, parks, and relaxing.
They also strictly follow house rules. After 10 pm, you are not even allowed to take a shower and turn on household appliances that would make noise. This is a mission impossible in the building where I live in Belgrade because even during the night you can hear a vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, or loud music due to the celebration. Not to mention that my people always easily find a reason to celebrate. 馃檪
Zurich is a city that impresses with its beauty at every turn. Wherever you turn around, there are beautiful scenes that attract you to take photos.
It is one of the cities with the best standard of living in the world and you can feel it while you are there.
The charming old town is rich in historical and cultural content. We saw a lot of museums, galleries, and cultural monuments, as well as religious buildings.
We entered a church where an incredible peace was felt.
I am not very religious, but I find it interesting to look at the inside of churches, especially when it comes to a religion other than Orthodox Christianity, to which I belong by birth.
In addition to the old town, there are many modern buildings in Zurich and you can feel the spirit of modern times. We had a great time at the cafe I think on the 37th floor with an amazing view.
We stayed there for a long time because we liked the view. The prices of drinks are quite high, I remember we were shocked. 馃檪
The Limmat River flows through Zurich into Lake Zurich, which I will write about in some of the following posts.
This river has a specific color that was ideal for photography.
Zurich is a combination of nature, tradition, history, and modern spirit. The perfect place to live without tension, or so it seems.
