I like a lot of people are Star Wars fans, and a movie about Han Solo could have been quite good, could have been. While Alden Ehrenreich does do a good job being Han the story doesn't seem to know what it wants to tell or how to tell it.
We never see how Han got to be Han Solo, there wasn't any real character changing events, instead it feels like a paint by the numbers type scenario. If you are a big Star Wars fan you may still enjoy it, but don't expect anything other than a few highlights in the life of Han Solo.
Since there wasn't a lot of development the story won't take long to cover, as the empire is emerging the demand for resources is growing very very fast. Han finds himself in the middle of a robbery where he meets Chewbacca and Lando. Together they expose a criminal underworld.
