Goth Angelina, almost. This isn't a bad film, not a brilliant film, worth watching for Angelina. The story seems to be a modernised/updated version of sleeping beauty. The actors generally do a pretty

Startrek at home. This movie started a very series, one that I did enjoy at the time. Any world could be visited and hence any subject could be explored. The actual movie wasn't brilliant, good but not

Action with a plausible plot. It was a little interesting that a lot of people couldn't follow the plot, surely some thinking is a good thing? Leaving that to one side the stunts were somewhat over the

A bit of Horror and action set in Goth. A decent French action movie, this was also the consensus of the general public at the box office. Yes, it did reasonably well at the cinemas. It has a certain style

Anyone for a Firesale? An attempt to connect to a slightly different audience than just your pure action fans. There is of course a lot of action, as well as a bit more to the plot. The film delivers pretty

Don't misinterpret the instructions. An very interesting crime thriller with a good amount of action thrown in. If you are interested in the plot than a very interesting question is considered regarding

What made the machines? A movie for when you don't want to think about anything in the movie, simply put some mindless fun. The visuals are what you would expect from Hollywood, along with the action scenes,

Are you paying attention? This is a very good film, might be a bit too much thinking for some as I think it should have rated higher. We have a very good vast with Denzel Washington and Val Kilmer. The

Do you really retire? This is best viewed as a comedy with action. Bruce Willis does his standard routine which is still entertaining. Helen Mirren plays her role very well and does the action very well,

More CLint Eastwood. Clint does pretty much his typical style of performance in this movie and doesn't seem overly pushed with his acting. The film is helped by John Malkovitch who does a very good

Be mindful of the honest cop. This is a movie that doesn't quite follow your standard script that a lot of Hollywood movies do these days. It is what a fast paced action movie with a good plot can be.

More Vampires. Wesley Snipes does a good job as an action hero. He may not have a huge amount of dialogue yet still manages to communicate with the audience and even has the odd comic line. There is lots

Different from the Original. I have always liked superman and all the various movies, which means that unless this one was so bad I was probably always going to like to some degree. Thankfully it is a

The 1953 version. This is one film that doesn't rely on CGI, there wasn't any in the 1950's and yet manages to be better than a lot of sci-fi movies made. Even the remake with all of its advantages didn't

A decent Bond movie. It seems that for a while Bond movies lost their way a little. This movie thankfully seems to be what you would expect from a good bond movie, lots of action, some humour, and a decent

There can be only one. I saw this movie for the first time many years ago, I liked it then and still do. The actions scenes are well done but the special effects should have been better. Sean Connery as

Understated and not Hollywood. The world of Harry Brown is brought to life very well, it isn't what you might expect a retired serviceman to be living. Instead it is dirty, seedy and crime ridden. The

The Orignal. The movie starts with a decent pace and doesn't really slow down. Michael Caine plays the role of Charlie very well, he played it with a certain style. The movie showcases the Mini very well.

Prison Escape. One of Kurt Rusell's first movies as an action hero, this wasn't something he was known for previously. He does play the role very well and these days no one thinks twice if Kurt plays a
