Mission Impossible No.5
This is very much what you would expect from a big block buster Hollywood movie, especially as it is the fifth time the Mission Impossible theme has been rolled out.
In this version Ethan and team take on two "enemies", one being the various politicians/groups that want the IMF gone and the other one. A secret criminal organisation called the Syndicate, one slight problem with the later. The Syndicate is as good as the IMF in covering their tracks. So almost no one believes that they exist. After all what better justification to keep a secret organisation group going than to be chasing another secret criminal organisation?
Proof of the Syndicate existence has almost become Hunt's obsession, he gets whispers here, and some circumstantial evidence there. Hunt is captured by the Syndicate while getting the next mission briefing. He does of course escape, not without help from a Syndicate agent, surprise.
Thus starts a cat and mouse game between Hunt, and the Syndicate, in typical fashion the authorities arrive to find Hunt at various scenes with the evidence pointing to him as the bad guy. This makes for lots of action scenes, fight scenes, and chases.
We all know the ending of course, Hunt wins. This movie is almost exactly what you would expect with some plot twists to keep things interesting, so it is worth watching.
