As good as the original.
This movie took Jumanji to another level, it is fast paced and has some comedic moments to boot. The cast works very well , they all appear to be having fun and it comes through on the film. Unlike the first which did have some dark undertones, this one is full of fun and comedy. I do believe that Robin Williams would have also enjoyed the movie.
This isn't really a sequel but almost a brand new attempt from a different view point. We have four kids that find an old video game and as sucked into it literally. Once in the game the only way out is to finish it without loosing all your lives in the process.
They need to find the clues, solve the puzzles and survive the new world they are in if they are to return to their world. Can they pull together and beat the game as a team, or will they be lost in the game forever?
