I'm talking about TV shows and movies.

It seems like all of the good shows have already been seen before and I find nothing new to excite me.

I think it's because nothing beats the excitement of real action. Sitting in front of the TV doesn't capture the same feeling as actually being on an adventure.

We can't go on adventures all the time though..... because they are expensive. We have to work every day to simply pay the rent for our rooms.

Once in awhile I find a new TV show to get really excited about, but I usually find that after the first few episodes it isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Sometimes I even rediscover an old one and find out that it wasn't as good as I once thought.

Tastes change I guess.

Maybe it's because the only thing that Netflix and Amazon Prime get are the older movies that aren't in the public eye much these days.

If they were getting all of the good stuff then they wouldn't be able to sell digital copies for $15 a piece now would they?

Or rent them for $5. For 24 hours.

I guess that's the nature of the beast.

However, it would be great to come home to work and have an awesome movie ready whatever you wanted instead of some old schlock.

Maybe it's time to crack open a book from the old bookshelf.

Be seeing you.
