One big battle I struggle with is procrastination. It gives you hope, makes you feel relaxed, and yet steals away the precious time you have.
At the end of the day, when you ask yourself how your day went. It was busy, of course, busy doing unproductive things. It's so easy to drift from the main thing; it's so easy to scroll through Facebook and TikTok, watching endless videos, rather than doing the right thing. It takes a good measure of discipline and intentionality to get things done.

I admire people who are so organized with their to-do list, and they smash it all. I have a friend who is so dedicated to her daily tasks, she writes down her to-do list and smashes each and every one of them. Sometimes I imagine how she does it. It's not rocket science, but it's extremely hard for me.The painful truth is that the day will never come when you intend to do such a thing again. You keep moving it, keep shifting it till the year ends, and the routine keeps on going.I battle with procrastination each day, though I write down my to-do list and follow sequences, but yet there are so many tasks I will say to myself I will do after I must have slept for an hour.
After an hour, I will find myself scrolling through the walls of social media.I procrastinate every time, but let me share the most painful. Last December I had a project I needed to deliver before the 31st. I didn't do it when I had the time; I kept giving myself hope I could work under pressure and deliver till it was the 30th. That was when I sat myself down and began to do my project.
I worked throughout that day till the next day. I thought I would finish fast and go for a cross over night but I was wrong. I finished exactly by 11:40 pm. I sent out the project immediately, and that was when I began my crossover night, and the next day it was sent back to me for correction. I lost my profit because I didn't deliver on time.
I felt so bad and angry, and I promised myself never to go through such a situation again.I'm so passionate about fighting this theme of procrastination that I have to shut down my social media for a month to focus more on what matters. I watched some videos on YouTube and got advice from my mentors. I wrote down my to-do list, and I began to do my daily tasks, but a few times I still lacked in some areas, but not like before. Now I prioritize my time more. I promise to go for thanksgiving if I finally overcome procrastination one day.
