Life can be quite funny you know, the things we used back then have suddenly evolved. I could remember then we used a cassette plate to watch movies. My siblings and I, especially my brother, will always argue which movie to put. We ended our argument with an elderly choosing for us. If not , I am not even ready to back down, same with my brother too.
Then I was staying with my Auntie. There was this cassette with this small inch TV we used when I was younger to watch movies. I can't remember the age I was then but it didn't take long since we began using plates. That was when I knew of Celine Dion music. My auntie bought it then and she usually played it. I mastered the song before I was 10 years old.
There was also other music. My father always played this music early in the morning. It was a gospel song. After listening to this music I will turn to a new leaf for 5 minutes promising I will never disobey my parents again.
My childhood was fun, remembering every bit of it then from the disc we went on to the AIT program. There was this cartoon that usually starts by 3pm in the afternoon and it happens whenever we come back to school and we stay glued to the screen in anticipation to know what happens next. Childhood was my best time in life. I could remember when my father bought this old fashioned computer. He wanted us to learn how to type and my siblings and I usually struggled on who to go first. We usually use Mavis Beacon but unfortunately our house was robbed and the computer was taken away. I could have been a master in tying by now. I could remember using this lamp as our source of light, then anything you are asked to wash the glass you have to be extremely careful before it falls off and breaks in your hands.
Whatever we're watching is being regulated by my mother. When the movie starts with +18 scenes my mother will chase us inside our room but we will still be peeping from the window. Sometimes my mother has to lock us up. We don't even know why she was chasing us inside. It was later I understood but then I have already grown up.
