A 40-year-old woman died 1 year ago due to kidney disease, leaving 2 little girls helpless, lacking the attention of her father, thus becoming Orphan.
That woman was a cousin, a very close relative, whose last months of life were very sad and hard for the family; however, she gave her life to Jesus Christ before she passed away, which is great.
In the Bible there are several verses that tell us about how valuable it is for God when we care for orphans, widows and homeless, providing help, understanding and attention for their condition.
"Father of orphans and defender of widows It is God in his holy habitation." Psalm 68: 5 RVR1960
True religion is to help the needy, not just go to church or believe that we are very spiritual.
When we extend our helping hand to the needy we are Honoring God and being dispensers of His Love towards the one who suffers.
Defend the weak and the orphan; Do justice to the afflicted and the needy. Psalm 82: 3 RVR1960
