God's forgiveness is something that is not easily understood and that is why men who do not have Jesus Christ cannot experience that the Lord can erase and throw all sin deep into the sea. They do not understand and judge with human mind what makes them err because they do not know the true love of God, demonstrated by us on the Cross of Calvary.

Romans 5: 8 English Standard Version (ESV)
8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
