Growing up i was an avid camper and outdoorsman, but as the years and responsibility add up i haven't had much time to do the things I used to. As a father of 2 girls i feel it increasingly important i teach them how to survive on their own with limited resources. So i bought 2.5 acres of wooded land accross the street from a 4k+ acre lake. I am excited to share our progress as we go along in our journey. This is a weekend retreat and will be a slow process, but our overall longterm goal is to be as self sufficient as humanly possible. Will get a good video camera in the next few weeks but until then I will post pictures of our progress and Family Fun!
