Once again, I've had an idea for Steem that I would love to do, but sadly don't have the time to properly devote to it.

So, since this epiphany occurred to me while I was driving, I stopped off at a Wendy's and noted it down to share with you! The great and mighty Steempire!

So what is this mighty and awesome steemproject? There's a hint in the title!

Basically had I the time, I would reach out to animators and animation students, and arrange a contract where a new channel would spotlight them in two posts.

The first post would have their video (via d-tube) and half the proceeds (SBD) would go to them, while the other half would be held for future hosting costs (d-tube only has a limited amount of free hosting for its IPFS).

The second post would talk about the video, it's creator(s), the cost of making the video, and various other things. 100% of this posts proceeds (SBD) would go to the creators.

All SP earned would go to strengthening the channel.

I think this would be a great way for burgeoning animators to gain some exposure, as well as bring steemit and d-tube to more peoples attention. If successful, it could also help fund animators that we want to see more from, as well as give direct and obvious feedback on what we want to see.

This project wouldn't require much technical knowledge, but lots of time and research, as well as strong interview skills and moderate writing chops. I hope some enterprising steemian decides to take up this project.
