The dust has settled after an NBA draft night of megatrades and surprise moves.
I am a die hard Lakers fan and the last few years have been a struggle. Our fearless leader Magic too a leap of faith with the #2 overall pick and took Lonzo Ball along with all the hype and baggage.
Lonzo has been compared to a number of alltime greats despite not lacing up for 1 NBA game.
Filling Kobe, Shaq, Kareem, Magic and countless other Laker greats shoes will be a monumental task with the targets already painted on his back.
At UCLA he would show flashes of brilliance and leadership.
This is the type of charisma and game he will have to deliver at the next level. The 7+ assist per game have me excited!!!
A day later we have been promised a playoff berth next year and a true playmaker and leader for years to come. I just hope this BIG BALLER can deliver!!!
