Today, we celebrated the first birthday of our furbaby, Dobby. He has grown so much since we got him 10 months ago, when he was just 8 weeks old.
How adorable is that little face??
My daughter, who is a huge Harry Potter fan named him after Dobby, the house elf from the movies.. I'm guessing because they both have big ears.
Dobby is a beagle. He is super cute, smart and a really loving dog.. but also quite hyperactive. We adore him though.
For his birthday, we got him a hamburger for his "cake" and a french fry as the "candle". He ate most of it, but didn't care much for the fry. 馃榾
The kids took him out to play, and he had fun chasing frogs and stray cats. 馃槍 My kids got some good exercise chasing after him, too.. until it started raining.
Overall, I think he had a good birthday - whether he realized it or not. 馃槀
