Sometimes i do upvote my own post. Like an exclamation point if a post is important enough. In the past you would go to the bid bots and throw down your sbd or steem on one of the hundreds of competing services. It was stupid complex at first but it did teach me the reality of advertising and what it means to have the opportunity to have your post seen by alot of eyeballs. Sometimes this activity would warrant profit other times it was just a slow but sure way to bundle rewards of effort. Occasionally the effort and crypto would be a complete washout failure. It was real life. Alot of trial and error. I dont know when but it seems that both hive and steem blockchains no longer condone this sort of thing. Wonder what happened?!?
