I took Leon hiking on the Notch trail near Beacon, NY. He didn’t like the trail as much as other trails. It was too flat until we made it to South Beacon Mountain and he really enjoyed the uphill part.
Unfortunately, we reached the hard part of the ascent and he wanted to turn around.
So we went back down. In the forest he found a frog and tried to smash it. I guess he doesn’t like hopping.
And he found a brook off trail to drink from.
