My mom passed away on the 20th June this year. Since she left us, I have dedicated every single Thursday to sharing some of her gardening posts. Over the last three months, I have begun to find doing this increasingly more difficult. It is like ripping open a wound every single Thursday. Yes, I wanted to do it to keep the memory of my mom alive - because FUCK I miss her more than I could EVER put into words... but I feel like it is time for me close the chapter on those posts and shift my focus elsewhere. I have not quite figured out what I want to dedicate my Thursdays to just yet... but I will, and whatever it is - it will be special for both my mom and I.
