“Be bold and courageous. When you look back on your life, you’ll regret the things you didn’t do more than the ones you did.”— H. Jackson Brown Jr.

I really love this quote! It is so monumentally powerful - and accurate, yet the one where its "instruction" is often not executed. When we are kids, we are like clean canvasses - super heroes in the making in a manner of speaking… We have unwavering faith we can be and do anything - no matter how outlandish. Doubt, is seldom a part of our lives as children.
However, as we grow older and are exposed to "life" – that perspective and trust in things gradually deviates... or lessens rather. Suddenly we are not quite as courageous and happy-go-lucky... and are also a lot less enthusiastic to "step into the unfamiliar" for fear of, well - often many things... Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of humiliation - and the list goes on.
This is something that we need to learn how to change -
one action, moment or incident at a time.
There is another quote that I often like to refer to... "Do one thing every day that scares you". If this is practiced, then suddenly you start to notice that you are willing to step outside of your box and try new things - and the best part of that all, is that you will generally discover how much you enjoy these new discoveries and ultimately acknowledge just how much you have been missing out on.
There is nothing worse than the regret of missed opportunities,
especially if they are/were something that we have/had a passion for.
It is NEVER too late to turn things around or change the direction of your course and pursue your dreams, no matter how "fictitious" they may seem in the beginning!

Until next time...
