Trees of Minnesota - Tree Tuesday

Hi friends! This is the best week of the year for blossoming trees in my area - the western suburbs of Minneapolis. I wanted to share some of the beauties I captured today, in honor of #TreeTuesday -hosted by @old-guy-photos.

I’ve chosen the most brilliant one as the featured photo. Some trick of light enhanced its yellows, though it is truly a pink tree, with lighter pink trees behind it. I promise I did not alter it in any way. The others appear more natural in color.

They somehow remind me of fireworks, they way they explode into color.

Some of these are crabapples which I believe have the most brilliant colors. The lilacs are amazing too, and have an incredible aroma!
