This story is absolutely riveting! That young man is a devil child! You are very good at writing horror, @universoperdido.

The story is nearly flawless! But I noticed something you could correct:

I was petrified, when I saw that I was petrified.

I was petrified, when suddenly, a huge shadow covered me from behind...

Wow, what a great story. I don't often have time to read stories outside of The Ink Well, but I came across this one and it pulled me in. (Of course there is one scene that is too graphic for The Ink Well, so thank you for posting it in another community!)
