Hi Seki1. It is all the rage in the U.S. Think of tennis, but on a tiny court, with a lightweight ball (as seen in the picture). The lines for a pickleball court can actually be drawn on top of the lines for a tennis court. The rules are different from tennis, and you almost never play singles. My coach says it's a combination of tennis, ping pong and chess. But I haven't exactly nailed down the strategy part, so I couldn't tell you how chess fits in. The game moves very fast, so I totally get how it's like ping pong!
