That would be one of my worst fears! Falling injured and unable to do anything to save myself. Last night I fell on ice in my driveway with no one home, for example. And I remember hearing that this is how some people meet their death in the area where I live! If they cannot move, and no one can hear them cry for help, the freezing will claim them. Fortunately I was able to get up after a moment's rest!
