@katleya, I fell way behind on reading stories in October due to an injury. I just finally got a chance to read this story. It's wonderful. I love the setting, the characters, the suspense, and all of the little devices you use to keep us riveted to the story. That "knock, knock, knock" is so haunting. Well done!
