Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment, @dswigle! I'm a little behind on all things Hive... again! Yes, Alzheimer's is a horrible disease. I'm sorry to hear about your personal experience with it. The thing that really broke my heart was a part of the woman's story I didn't share. Her husband threw her out of the house. He didn't recognize her and he basically called her a young hussy and said his wife was going to be home any minute and she had better be gone. After she told this story, she got this little wry smile on her face and said that at least she knew he was faithful to her! That just gripped my heart.

But yes, on a positive note, it really is lovely to shop in those cute little towns. Come visit and I'll take you to my favorites!
