It was a beautiful early fall day. We are just starting to see some fall color here. We should have some nice weather and hopefully some bright colors between now and Halloween.
I took a walk around one of the lakes.
Our dry summer took a toll and the water levels are low everywhere. But the birds still seem to be thriving! I saw lots of geese, gulls, herons and egrets.
There’s something about being out on a trail on a sunny day that just fuels my soul. Seeing trees and nature and birds just seems to push the constant thrum of a busy life away.
