I took a walk around my house and my neighborhood to feel the sun on my face in the late afternoon. It felt like springtime! The temperature was above freezing for the first time in quite a while and it felt so glorious! I could hear the drop of melting snow!
This time of year the angle of the sun is so uplifting after the deep winter and the shortest days.
My little garden is imagining spring!
You’d think this means the end of winter for us, but I’m afraid it’s not so. We rarely see truly warm days until April or May. But meanwhile, a brief warm-up here and there reminds us that the blessed days of spring and planting are not so far away.
