It was a nice afternoon for a walk. And by “nice” I mean above freezing. But the ground was frozen, and it really was a little treacherous. In the really icy places I sort of slid along to avoid losing my balance or having my feel slip out from under me. But it was worth it for the fresh air and some pictures.
There is a certain beauty in the raw, winter landscape.
Even though it is so colorless that it’s almost monochromatic, I love the snow on the grass, the gray winter sky, and the peaceful stillness of nature at rest.
