What I thought might be the other moons of Jupiter and Saturn turned out to be distant stars. There was a lone and very faint meteor in the SW sky playing tag with an airplane at 9:50pm. 9:04pm to 9:54pm

ISS Hunt - Passing Over Venus, Jupiter, Saturn & Mars (Meteors Info)
Such a crap sky for hunting of the ISS so we missed it passing by Venus but eventually did catch a quick flyby when it went over Jupiter, then Saturn, but got buried behind the trees when going below Mars.

The information about the Meteor Strikes is at 4:07. The European Space Agency has 2 gif's of the strikes that hit the Moon on July 17th and the next night on the 18th. On the 17th the Moon was illuminated

Moon Falls Backwards for Nearly a Minute! (Tripod Leg may have Slipped in Grass)
