I think this experience made you realize a lot about alcohol and how it can affect people. What makes me feel sad is his wife and baby because they don't deserve to be in that kind of situation. I believe that drinking is a personal choice, but we should always know our limits and be responsible for our actions. Sometimes, seeing how other people behave when they drink makes us reflect on ourselves too. It's good that you are becoming more conscious about your drinking habits. Even I have noticed this with some people I know. They seem to become completely different when they drink alcohol. Some people who are usually very formal become unrecognizable, while those who are normally quiet suddenly become very talkative. That's why they say "In vino veritas," which means "In wine, there is truth." Sometimes, alcohol reveals sides of a person that we don't usually see when they are sober. It's really interesting how people's behavior can change when they drink.
