Change they say is inevitable when it is due, when it comes it is best to just embrace it with life and move on. It's the very essence of life's journey. Over the past three years, my path has been punctuated by the vibrant energy of new cities, each stop marking a chapter in my adventure. From the bustling streets of Ibadan to the serene landscapes of Ogun State, and then onto the dynamic heartbeat of Lagos which is actually home. This nomadic experience has found solace and excitement in the ever-changing scenery.
Each transition brought its unique blend of challenges and opportunities. Leaving behind familiar faces and routines in Ibadan, I embarked on a voyage of self-discovery, navigating through the unknown territories of Ogun State. It was a period of adaptation and growth and meeting new people, saving lives and practically being a part of their life, where every encounter served as a lesson, shaping my perspective and expanding my horizons as a medic.
Lagos, with its pulsating rhythm and mixture of cultures, beckoned me next. Here, amidst the chaos and charm, I found my stride, weaving through the streets with determination and grit. The city demanded resilience, rewarding those who dared to dream and hustle relentlessly. In the midst of the urban sprawl, I forged connections that enriched my life and fueled my aspirations.
Yet, beyond the concrete jungle and bustling markets, there lies a realm of boundless grace and guidance. With each leap of faith, I am reminded of the unwavering presence of God. It is through His providence that I have found success in the face of uncertainty, navigating through the maze of change with faith as my compass and hope as my guide.
Gratitude fills my heart as I reflect on the journey thus far. Each city, with its tapestry of experiences, has contributed to the tapestry of my life, imbuing it with depth and resilience. I am grateful for the challenges that pushed me beyond my limits, the friendships that blossomed amidst the chaos, and the moments of solitude that nurtured my soul. Oh the Joy.
As I set forth towards new horizons, I carry with me the lessons of the past and the blessings of the present. For in every city, in every twist and turn of fate, I find solace in the knowledge that I am guided by the Lord Jesus Christ, ever-present and ever-loving. And so, with an open heart and a spirit of gratitude, I embrace the journey ahead, new cities, new places to go, new people to meet..
For now, let's ride the streets of Lagos.
