The difference in equivalence is clear. The follower cannot expect the compensation to which a leader is empowered with. Many followers make the mistake of expecting such compensation.
There is no shame in being a follower. On the other hand there is no honor in remaining a follower. Most influential and well known leaders started out as followers. The efficiency in their leadership came as a result of been an intelligent follower. Followers who follow a leader efficiently are usually persons who develop speedily into leadership.
