I have walked over many
Rivers
Listening to their music
as they journeyed down stream
a natural exquisite symphony
Thinking about them all
as one powerful life lesson
We will always be headed
down stream
there’s no way to return
upstream
at the beginning
so we might as well enjoy the ride
over each rock, following the path
we won’t really know when and
where this ride ends
let’s assume that it’s today
and revel at all of the Rocks
we have helped to smooth
their path
