How will Crypto perform in the global crisis? This is not an answer from a historical perspective because the crypto is not long enough to show what kind of performance we expect.
But if you accept that the markets are composed of two groups - institutional investors who look after charts, indices and complex mathematical formulas; and individual investors trying to build a fortune for a later stage of life - both groups can reach the same conclusion.
The main directive for both groups is to place their money in a "safe place". Traditionally this has been safe haven gold and real estate.
Real estate in the last recession proved to be not a particularly safe place to have wealth. This time, I can't see that gold rises particularly quickly, as in the upcoming recessions.
