One of the strengths of Cebu community in Steemit is the active participation of Engineering students in our university. The community of Engineering students grew so fast as this department was our main target in our Steemit campaigns. I am also an Engineering student, and I want to take this opportunity to showcase Engineering works to add more spice in Steemit.

Last September 17, 2017, during the 4th Steemit Campaign we had last Saturday, we had agreed to print #steemit-engineering shirts to make a stronger community for Engineering. Not only on our community here but to boost Engineering more in the Steemit platform.

Our Goal

Our goal in promoting this initiative is to showcase Engineering works in our university. We want to let them know that they can freely publish their Engineering experiences and get some bucks from it. They can publish these following works :

Engineering projects from their subjects
Thesis / Project design
Their Learning and Experiences in taking Engineering
Engineering related topics
Proposals, and etc.

This tag has been widely used by many. This time, we want to promote it in our university. This is an initiative to keep track the fast growth of Engineering students who joined the platform. Printing and providing this shirt will be a big boost to our community here. Good thing about it is that I am planning to reach out on other departments soon! I had contacts with other students from Education, Maritime courses, and Business and Accountancy department to promote Steemit platform to them. Indeed, we are growing!

To Avail this Shirt :

We established some requirements in availing this shirt to our community here. We want them to be productive and really earn. Making these would make them do more in Steemit.

Reputation of at least 40. This can be easily achieved if they post contents in Steemit.
Published their introduceyourself post. It can be helpful to them in verifying their identity in Steemit. Introduceyourself tag is also one of the best earning post they will get!
Contribution of SBDs. The more donations we get, the lesser SBD contribution for them but as much as possible, they need to contribute an amount. They can get it from their earnings.
Must be an Engineering student. I think this is self-explanatory :)
