Hello everyone! I hope you are doing great. Today I want to share with you a portrait in semi-realistic style that I just finished. The process began with the creation of the sketch, which allowed me to define the proportions and the initial structure of the design. Afterwards, I applied color to the character, taking care of every detail and adding shadows to give it depth. I developed this project over several days, accumulating a total of 7 hours of work.

To materialize this work, I used a reference found on Pinterest, which was key to start the concept I had in mind. Next, I will show you a series of images that reflect the progress and evolution of the drawing.

¡Hola a todos! Espero que estén muy bien. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un retrato en estilo semirrealista que acabo de finalizar. El proceso comenzó con la creación del boceto, que me permitió definir las proporciones y la estructura inicial del diseño. Posteriormente, fui aplicando color al personaje, cuidando cada detalle y añadiendo sombras para darle profundidad. Este proyecto lo desarrollé durante varios días, acumulando un total de 7 horas de trabajo.

Para materializar esta obra, utilicé una referencia encontrada en Pinterest, que fue clave para dar empezar al concepto que tenía en mente. A continuación, les mostraré una serie de imágenes que reflejan el progreso y la evolución del dibujo.

Process

I started with the sketch, using guide strokes that helped me to establish the exact proportions I wanted to achieve. Once this first stage was completed, I proceeded to apply the skin color to the character, and then incorporate shadows and details to the illustration.

Comencé con el boceto, utilizando trazos guía que me ayudaron a establecer las proporciones exactas que deseaba lograr. Una vez completada esta primera etapa, procedí a aplicar el color de piel al personaje, para luego incorporar sombras y detalles a la ilustración.
