Hello to all the Splinterlands community, today I want to show you a drawing I made of a card that I liked a lot from the moment I saw it in the repertoire of all the cards, when I saw it I automatically thought of Chucky and I wanted to make it with his mythical pose.
Hola a toda la comunidad de Splinterlands, el día de hoy les quiero enseñar un dibujo que hice de una carta que me gusto mucho desde el momento que la vi en el repertorio de todas las cartas, cuando lo vi pensé en automáticamente en Chucky y lo quise realizar con su mítica pose.
So I was looking for Chucky with the mythical knife and selected the image above, to develop the pose of this character called POSSESSED PUPPET, this card is of type Death with a mana cost of 7, being a common card. The history of this character is as follows.
Así que estuve buscando a Chucky con el mítico cuchillo y seleccione la imagen anterior, para elaborar la pose de este personaje llamado POSSESSED PUPPET, esta carta es de tipo Muerte con un coste de mana de 7, siendo una carta común. La historia de este personaje es la siguiente.
A possessed puppet is a construct created by a spellcaster to act as a spy, servant, or even an assassin. It appears to be an innocuous doll until the last moment when it strikes. It is not unheard of for the creator to lace their construct's weapon with various maladies as well.
Possessed puppets are used for all manner of tasks, some darker than others. Alchemists utilize them in their stores to assist with their work, while shopkeepers have them run errands. Due to their blind obedience and lack of conscience, though, many are tasked with assassinations and other devious plots. Nothing is quite so unnerving as a child’s toy with a pair of daggers, about to snuff out your life.
What they are most prized for, though, is their ability to telepathically transmit anything they see or hear back to their creators, making them incredibly effective spies. This exchange of information is possible through the blood used in its creation, which creates a mystical bond between puppet and master.
Una marioneta poseída es una construcción creada por un lanzador de hechizos para actuar como espía, sirviente o incluso como asesino. Parece ser una muñeca inocua hasta el último momento cuando golpea. No es raro que el creador mezcle el arma de su construcción con varias enfermedades también.
Los títeres poseídos se utilizan para todo tipo de tareas, algunas más oscuras que otras. Los alquimistas los utilizan en sus tiendas para ayudarlos con su trabajo, mientras que los comerciantes los hacen hacer recados. Process
- In the sketch stage I made it in a traditional way with pencil and paper, trying to copy the pose of chucky and placing the characteristics of POSSESSED PUPPET, the dress part was a little complicated for me because of the pose, but I was improving it little by little to accommodate it in digital using the Krita program.
- En la etapa del boceto lo realice de manera tradicional con lapiz y papel, tratando de copiar la pose de chucky e ir colocando las caracteristicas de POSSESSED PUPPET, la parte del vestido se me complico un poco por la pose, pero lo fui mejorando poco a poco para luego acomodarlo en digital utilizando el programa Krita.
- Once in the program I was applying a base color to each of the elements of the character placing the closest colors to the reference of the card and then adding details to each of the parts, starting with the mouth of the character trying to make it as realistic as possible then followed with the left eye using a very light red color to highlight between all the elements.
- Una vez en el programa le fui aplicando un color base a cada uno de los elementos del personaje colocando los colores mas cercanos a la referencia de la carta para luego ir agregándole detalles a cada una de las partes, comenzando por la boca del personaje tratando de hacerlo lo mas realista posible después seguí con el ojo izquierdo utilizando un color rojo muy claro para que resaltara entre todos los elementos.
- Continuing in the rendering stage, I continued with the hair, the first time I've done this braid hairstyle and I really saw several references to make this hair style, it wasn't the best result, but I continued with the other elements such as the Dress with a purple color, I continued with the mask applying shadows so that it would have volume and continuing with the other details.
- Siguiendo en la etapa del renderizado, continúe con el cabello, primera vez que hago este estilo de peinado de trenzas y de verdad vi varias referencias para hacer este estilo de cabello, no fue el mejor resultado, pero seguí con los demás elementos como la vestimenta con un color morado, seguí con la mascara aplicándole sombras para que fuera teniendo volumen y siguiendo con los demás detalles.
- For the background I used the colors of the character a purple and I was adding a dark tonic since this character is horror and this was the final result.
- Para el fondo utilice los colores del personaje un morado y le fui agregando una tónica oscuro ya que este personajes es de terror y este fue el resultado final.
