Thanks for the comment, appreciate the perspective! And strange you’re not the only one commenting on my use of proper English, apparently people’s writing skills have gone downhill along with their shrinking attention spans and rise of the [not so] new ‘smartphone lingo’ where literally everything is abbreviated - it drives me nuts sometimes, but I didn’t realize people actually did the same too much outside of test messaging, let alone making massive payouts in the process...
Most of "them" see us the way most of us see other animals - to be used and killed with little or no consideration. Like lower life forms, capable of being owned, bred, controlled, and profited off.
Great observation, and on this point and the importance of taking personal steps towards the ending of the mass enslavement/slaughter/abuse of animals for profit/food/entertainment, I 100% agree, and honestly don’t know for sure why I didn’t mention it here as a part of the solution, it just didn’t come to my mind and I was really just freewriting as ideas were simply arising and flowing as I wrote, so I guess it just didn’t seem to fit with the main topic of this particular post being technology. But I do believe the better treatment of animals, particularly the end of the horrific slaughterhouse industry when consumption of animals is absolutely unnecessary at the current state of human development, is one of the single most important solutions and necessary key steps to any meaningful human advancement towards peace and happiness.
I have written fairly extensively on the issue throughout my short blogging career, particularly the philosophical roots of vegetarianism, and a little on the health benefits of plant-based diet, as well as occasionally sharing vegetarian/vegan recipes. Becoming a vegetarian was my second major life choice in regards to withdrawing from the system of violence, the first being to stop paying taxes to a government that spends over half its money on an imperial war machine. One of my favorite quotes related to peace is from Pythagoras - “As long as man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love."
Last winter I wrote an in depth 4-part series on the evidence that Jesus (along with his family and early disciples) was a vegetarian, and how this fits in with his overall message of nonviolence and all the Hebrew Scriptures pointing us towards a God of peace who always opposed animal sacrifice and asks us to treat them as we treat each other, with compassion and love. I’ve written on the philosophy of vegetarianism - in relation to Pythagoras and Leo Tolstoy, 2 famous men who are not so well known for this aspect of their life messages. I think the issue is also mentioned in both posts I linked to in this article on being the change one wants to see in the world - both the one by @kennyskitchen (“you can’t change the whole world, but you can change yourself, and that’s how the world changes”) and myself (“everybody wants the world to change but nobody wants to change themselves”).
More recently in the fall I wrote a piece on the transformation of hunting from ancient necessity to modern day sport, and how trophy hunters are uncannily similar to serial killers and how modern day hunting has nothing in common with the natural hunting for survival by wild animals in nature. Despite not mentioning it directly here, It’s an issue that’s close to my heart, I fully agree with you, and believe the path to peace starts with a peaceful diet.
Here is a link to a post I wrote over the summer about ways we can heal our lives and change the world, that includes links to many of my previous posts talking about the issue of vegetarianism in relation to achieving peace on earth, in case you’re interested in checking any of them out:

On the deepdives thing, I would highly recommend posting in the community for any research-based posts, as it’s a great community with lots of active members and lots of great, varied content to sift through. The contests are nice too, keep your eyes out for the next one and take advantage of the challenge if it interests you, as you’ll have a chance to win HIVE prizes!
Hope the Gates film ends up playing for you, strange about that, it works for me just fine on both platforms! I’m working on getting set up on LBRY/Odessy as well, I’ve joined but it won’t let me set up a channel and upload without coinage, and it thus far won’t let me make claims for the giveaways it lists for me, giving me some message about too many users on IP address or something. I’ll keep working on it, but it’s hard for me, often having spotty service, as I’m currently living the camping lifestyle and that limits my internet access much of the time, which is annoying for trying to setup new stuff like this when it doesn’t go smoothly, while also trying to use the limited time I have online to grab links and upload content. I’m also on 3Speak, which I love for watching videos and the ability to embed into Hive posts, but for some reason it won’t let me upload videos, and I’ve tried on multiple browsers so hopefully I can get that figured out in the near future and get some of my library uploaded there when I’m back into a spot with good service for a while.
But ya, the Gates doc is a great compilation of the best clips exposing the monster and his hypocrisy that I could find, it took me quite a few hours to put it together, so I’m hoping people continue to find it and share it around so more of those who are unaware of the darker side of Gates history and underlying agenda for humanity can become aware.
I hadn’t though of transhumaninm in the way you put it before, only from the perspective of using technology in a way to favor the elite and as a tool to merge tech with our minds to lend them more control over our minds. It reminds me that in so many cases it isn’t that technology is inherently good or bad, it’s just how that technology is used (and usually that depends on who is using it). Case in point, as harmful as smart devices have been to society, this post wouldn’t have been possible for me to make without a smartphone, as it is my main source of internet access as a traveling off-grid nomad, and often how I am able to research/write/make videos while camping and on the road, particularly when camping at sites with decent cell service. I held out for years with my old school flip phone, but got an IPhone for that specific purpose just before I embarked on this journey. Sometimes I use my laptop and public WiFi at libraries and such, but that is much less common, especially since March 2020 with lockdowns and mask mandates and such.
Ditto on masks, I’m tired of seeing everyone scared, hiding behind an obviously worthless mask, sometimes even plastic face shields! Mind boggling people don’t see the hypocrisy and the many inconsistencies on the issue. Lately I had encounter with a couple Goodwills in southern Arizona, and they appear to be the most stringent on enforcing mask policy, allowing no exemptions whatsoever, even valid health issues that would exempt one under local mandates or in other stores in the same locality does not exempt one at Goodwill. Plus, they do not allow use of any clothing to cover the face, but only actual masks (in other words, you must profit the pandemic profiteers), and they DO NOT PROVIDE ONE FOR YOU TO WEAR like most other establishments that mandate it! In California the only place I had such an issue was at Starbucks, they were mask nazis too, but at least provided masks - made of cloth, just like a shirt which they wouldn’t allow you to cover face with. Go figure. Oh, the insanity of it all...
Back to my Goodwill story, they made clear there were absolutely No exceptions, and when calling corporate one cannot get ahold of a real human to ask why their corporate policy is discriminating against those with health issues and the poor (their very customer base being a thrift store, ironically), but is only a complaint line, so I didn’t waste my time leaving a message as I just wanted an explanation.
The best part is when I asked the manager why they were forcing me to purchase a product simply to enter the establishment (as opposed to giving me a mask or allowing me to cover my face with an article of clothing), she said they weren’t, as I could buy ones at the store next door. Um, unless I’m mistaken, that’s still making me buy it, whether from them or not, and when I told her that, and that masks don’t just grow on trees, and that I didn’t want to buy one, and on top of that had trouble breathing with one on, she just told me ‘store policies, no exceptions, if you don’t like it, call the number and leave a complaint’. Same with valid health issues that are exempt under state guidelines, she said. That’s flat out discrimination, and I wonder how they’d fair in a lawsuit.
This is very disturbing direction the mask policies are going, and other corporate chains are beginning to do the same, with Ace Hardware now also recently implemented a no-exceptions policy. If you have health issues, do curbside pickup. You can stand in the entryway, though, in fact they told me to, as they went and got the product I wanted and then rung me up, all while people walked in and out right by me - but it’s for customer SAFETY!! Bullshit, it has nothing to do with safety or they wouldn’t have been fine with me standing there without a mask for ten minutes as customers streamed in and out literally walking within a foot of me and my ‘dangerous’ breath!!! Apparently the ‘virus’ doesn’t spread in the congested entryway, only in the store when you’re walking through isles mostly distanced from others! I tell you what, for those that believe in this nonsense, it’s the most magical virus that this earth has EVER witnessed!!! Effecting common man but not politicians, spreading in small businesses but not large corporate chains, and on and on and on the examples of such insanity go.
I’ve gotten beyond anger though, and now just laugh at the insanity of it all. Others also resist the mask ordinances, most are not hassled, and many stores are just fine with the customers without masks, despite having signage on the door indicating otherwise. The best example in these parts of southern Arizona was a pawn shop sign - “Mask policy: if you want to, wear one, if you don’t, don’t wear one.” I just assume boycott the places that are so tyrannical about it, and give my business to places that treat me like a human being anyway. It’s funny to see the differences in enforcement, however, and further proof this all has nothing to do with ‘pandemic’ and everything to do with....things...
