I want this to work really badly I just wonder about these issues.
With a uniswap fee presently being about $32 I assume people want to do more at a time than just $3000 .
You discussed how more liquidity increases that but I didn't see what would lead to there being more liquidity.
So ... If limited to $3000 on this bridge it puts the cost of a $3000 transaction at a bit over 1% + the .25% management fee
Then there is a conversion like 5200bleo to busd token is.88% slippage and bnb closer to. 64% and a transaction cost is low but not nothing.
On the uniswap side those slippages I assume are similar because you said the pool was similar.
I would love to see the results of some actual swaps but...
So I am inferring someone who starts with $3000 on one side get
$32 uniswap fee taken out
.8% slippage from their random token to wleo = 2944.256 with a .25% fee taken at this point i am guessing = 2936.89
Then from bleo to a random bsc token with another .8% slippage = $2913.4
I didn't even calculate the bsc fee
Something around 2.88% cost?
Oh and then uniswap and pancake both take their ~.2% ... i forgot those
Sounds bad but I guess if you have money on an eth wallet (not an exchange) then you would have to spend $32 to convert to eth and whatever your random token is you'll have slippage there perhaps unless uniswap has a big pool for it.
Then a ~$14 fee to send eth to binance bridge using a VPN
Then when you have binance eth you convert to whatever token you want and eth slippage is not so great and in case of eth to bnb or Busd its actually pretty much non existent for just $3000
So you're looking at maybe $46 plus the uniswap pancake fees.
But all in all it sadly does seem like there is a high likelihood that option to is more work but less money... in particular because they can do much larger transactions which means fee price is not so great of a percentage ... and also less time and effort comparatively to do let's say $30k which on leo bridge is 10 transactions on uniswap as opposed to one with the other method
Maybe I'm missing a few things I don't know. I would love to see the results of a few live swaps. I would love to be wrong and see this bridge used a lot and lots of Cub burned.
I guess I'm just happy I had only eth and was able to use binance bridge and didn't have to do any uniswap conversions etc
But I will be very interested to see what you have in store for kingdoms and how it increases the value and demand for Cub.
I do use cubdefi a lot and have enjoyed it I am cheering for you
