"When the cold holiday season hits you hard, you become a poet.
Have you ever loved someone but your feelings were not mutual?
So, you decided to write a poem to protest. You are not alone!"
"Do you want to kill me?"
A poem by
That innocent face and mesmerizing eyes of you
Makes this crazy heart race inside and these cheeks aglow
That cute smile, goofy humor and shrill laugh sometimes
Lighten up everything as if I'm in a trance.
Like your fellow angels are lifting me up and away
But our forever is always short - you can't stay.
Those angels have to let me go again to fall deeply.
Now, I just want to ask you,"Do you want to kill me?"
We are just best of friends and I know but it really hurts
Thinking you haven't felt more than that for me in your heart
Like how many more hours should I spend talking to you?
So, I coud be finally be special in your point of view.
You look very happy whenever you are with me
But you're even happier when you are with him as I see.
All these chances and hopes are making my heart heavy.
Again, I want to ask you, "Do you want to kill me?"
They said that if you have a dream, you must chase it.
This is why I am chasing you, by indefinite.
But I'm thinking. Should I give up on chasing you, now?
The cues of my rejection are evident somehow.
Maybe seeing you happy from a afar is a bargain
Than losing you on my pursuit of you in my gain.
Writing this poem seems like that I am yielding
But what should I do if only on him, you're falling.
Loving hurts sometimes, especially when you're alone.
When will this feelings of yearning be, forever, gone?
My heart is so tired now of our love that is dreamy.
For the last time I'm asking, "Do you want to kill me?"
Oh, this love...
