Most of the people of Lhokseumawe City depend on the fishery sector or their income from marine products. considering the Lhokseumawe area which is surrounded by the sea from the east end to the west end.
Various kinds of activities are carried out by local people to fulfill their economy, ranging from fishing by catching fish by pulling trawls and fishing with small boats to looking for "Tirom" in the river at low tide.
In the photo I took below, it is very clear that some people are quoting "Tirom" which will be sold to get money to meet their daily needs.
I take this view when the Maghrib Azan arrives, people are getting ready to go to the mosque for the evening prayer, they are still taking "Tirom" euhhhhh, we really love the economic condition of our brother. I hope the Lhokseumawe City government can give special attention to them in order to improve their standard of living so that it can be said "Decent"
